Redmi Note 7 Pro- Price starts at Rs. 13,999
Xiaomi has launched its Redmi Note 7 Pro with a 48MP rear camera. It has a FHD+ 6.3-inch “Dot Notch” display and a glass body with Gorilla Glass protection. It gets a Snapdragon 675 chipset paired with up to 6GB RAM. It packs a 4,000mAh battery.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a dual camera set up at the back with a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 5MP depth sensor. There is a 13MP selfie camera. The 48MP camera combines four pixels into one to offer a 12MP image, however, it can also shoot 48MP images in Pro mode.
Honor View 20- Price starts at Rs. 37,999
Launched back in January, the Honor View 20 was the first phone with a 48MP sensor that also came with top-end internals and a new punch-hole design. The View 20 sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ All-View display. It is powered by a Kirin 980 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM. It packs a 4,000mAh battery.
The dual rear-camera setup on the phone comes with a 48MP (f/1.8) Sony IMX586 sensor and a 3D ToF camera. The main 48 MP camera offers 4-in-1 pixel binning technology to offer 12MP effective shot. It has a 25MP (f/2.0) selfie camera.
Vivo V15 Pro- Price Rs. 28,990
Vivo recently launched its V15 Pro mid-range phone with a new design and impressive cameras. It has a notch-less 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by a Snapdragon 675 chipset with 6GB RAM, packs a 3,700mAh battery and runs Android Pie with Funtouch OS 9.
The Vivo V15 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP (f/2.0) main camera and 8MP (f/2.2)+ 5MP (f/2.4) sensors. Up front, it has a 32MP (f/2.0) pop-up selfie camera.
OPPO F11 Pro- Price Rs. 24,990
OPPO F11 Pro also comes with an all-screen notch-less design and a 48MP rear camera just like the V15 Pro. It sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display with a rising front camera. It gets a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset with 6GB RAM and backed by a 4,000mAh battery.
The dual camera setup comes with a 48MP (f/1.79) main sensor and a 5MP secondary depth sensor. It also comes with a pop-up selfie camera that is a 16MP sensor. The camera supports Ultra Night and Dazzle Color Modes.
48MP Camera
Last year, Sony and Samsung announced their 48MP camera sensors. The Sony IMX586 and the Samsung ISOCELL GM1 both sensors feature 48-megapixel resolutions with up to 1/2-inch sensor size. They provide a better low light performance by combining 4 pixels into 1 and the tech is known as Pixel Binning.
