Honor 8A Pro with Helio P35 launched: Price, specifications

Huawei sub-brand Honor has launched a new smartphone Honor 8A Pro in Russia today. The budget phone is powered by the new MediaTek Helio P35 SoC and sports a 6.09-inch HD+ display. Interestingly, in the times of dual cameras, the Honor 8A Pro comes with a single camera at the back.

Honor 8A Pro Full Specifications

The Honor 8A Pro sports a 6.09-inch HD+ (720×1560 pixels) IPS display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It packs 3GB RAM and 64GB storage which can be expanded up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

In terms of camera, the handset comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash. It sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone runs on on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top.

Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Glonass, and a Micro-USB port. The phone sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well. The Honor 8A Pro, further, includes a 3,020mAh battery.

Price, availability

The Honor 8A Pro is priced at RUB 13,990 (Rs. 14,700 approx.). However, just for today, it will be sold at just RUB 10,912 (roughly Rs. 11,500). The smartphone comes in two color options – Black and Blue. There is no word on its availability in other markets as of now.
