Update: May 10, 2019- Ahead of the launch, ASUS Zenfone 6 has again surfaced online. The leaked images show a no-notch design with a manual slider which can be slid from the top and back both. It has a glass back and dual cameras at the back with a fingerprint scanner.

The down slider reveals dual front cameras up front and it could be a standard and a wide-angle camera. While the upper slider shows the speaker grill. The phone is expected to come with Harman Kardon tuned speakers.

The company also posted another teaser that confirmed Snapdragon 855, triple slots, notification LED, 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom and a smart key on the right side.

Zenfone 6 Design and Display
The new teaser shows a smartphone without any notch and the display has minimal bezels on each side. The teaser hints that the phone will either feature a pop-up camera design or a slider design to avoid the notch. Also, it will surely have a glass back just like the 5Z.

Previously, the ZenFone 6 design concept renders were shared by tipster Evan Blass. He also claimed that those came from the ZenFone 5 designer. Those render showed a slider design with a number of features hidden on the slider.

If we talk about the display, the AnTuTu listing of Zenfone 6 has revealed that it will sport a Full HD+ (2340 ×1080 pixels) 19:5:9 aspect ratio display but the screen size is still unknown. The Zenfone 6 might also feature Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
Zenfone 6 Processor
Earlier last month, an ASUS phone with model number ASUS_I01WD surfaced on Geekbench and the same model was also spotted on the AnTuTu benchmark site. These listings reveal it will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset with at least 6GB of RAM. The AnTuTu listing also reveals it will pack 128GB storage.
Zenfone 6 Camera
In recent leaks, the rear panel of Zenofone 6 sports a dual camera set up while some previous leaks have suggested a triple rear camera setup. However, we expect that those alleged images that showed triple rear cameras could just be early dummy units.
So, the phone could sport a dual camera set up and it is expected that the 48MP rear camera could be a Sony IMX586 sensor. It will have a depth sensor alongside the 48MP main camera.
The leaks also hint at a 48MP front camera too, but it seems only an error. However, if we trust the slider design leak, the 48MP front camera is also possible just like Samsung’s Galaxy A80.
Zenfone 6 Battery and Other Features
If we talk about the battery, the Zenfone 6 could sport a bigger battery than Zenfone 5Z. The 5Z came with a 3,300mAh battery, so Zenfone 6 may sport at least 4,000mAh battery. Also, it might support fast charging as well. The phone will run on the latest Android 9 Pie with ZenUI. It will also have the usual connectivity features.

ASUS did a good job when it priced Zenfone 5Z under Rs. 30,000. It was once the most affordable phone with the SD 845 chipset. This time again, we expect the same. So, the Zenfone 6 price in India could start at Rs. 29,999.
Zenfone 6 India Launch Date
The Zenfone 5 series was introduced at the MWC 2018. This year the company has decided to launch it in May. After the global launch on May 16th, the phone will soon arrive in India. So, we expect Zenfone 6 India launch could happen in the May end.
