Redmi flagship phone called Redmi K20 might come as POCO F2 in India; Check features here

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has confirmed that its first flagship phones will be called Redmi K20. It is also reported that the company is preparing to launch two flagships – the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro and that one of these devices could come to India as Poco F2.

Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing has also posted on Weibo that the ‘K’ in K20 stands for ‘Killer’ and that the K-series will be the flagship killer. So, we expect that this might come to India as Poco F2 and become the flagship killer here just like last year’s Poco F1.

Redmi K20 Specs

The Redmi flagship has leaked several times that reveal its design as well as the detailed specs. As per the leaks, it will sport a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor and Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It will come with a pop-up selfie camera design.

In terms of camera, it will sport a triple camera set up at the back with a 48MP main, an 8MP secondary ultra-wide and a 16MP telephoto cameras. For selfies, there will be a 20MP pop-up camera at the front.


It is expected that K20 Pro will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset and it will be the POCO F2 in India. While non-Pro Redmi K20 may come with a Snapdragon 7 series chipset perhaps the 730 and it will be the Mi A3 in India.

In terms of versions, these both should come with 6GB and 8GB of RAM options and 64GB, 128GB, 256GB storage options. There could be a 4,000mAh battery on both the phones with a 27W fast charging support.
