Realme X Launched With Pop-up Selfie Camera: Price, Full Specifications

Realme X was finally launched in China earlier today. The OPPO’s sub-brand has made its debut in China with the launch of two new phones. The second phone is Realme X Youth Edition which is actually Realme 3 Pro that is already available in China.

So, we are talking here about Realme X which comes with features like an FHD+ AMOLED notch-less display, in-display fingerprint scanner, Snapdragon 710 processor with up to 8GB RAM, 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, and a 16MP pop-up front camera. It has a gradient glass back with an S-shaped curve. It also supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

Realme X Specifications

The Realme X features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ (2340 × 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is a full-screen display with a notch that offers 91.2% screen-to-body ratio. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 710 processor with Adreno 616 GPU and a new gel cooling that reduces the device temperature up to 15.2% in just one hour. The phone is packed with up to 8GB LPPDDR4x) RAM and up to 128GB storage.

It has a dual rear camera set up with a 48MP primary camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, and a 5MP secondary rear camera. It has a 16MP pop-up front camera with Sony IMX471 sensor and f/2.0 aperture and it can launch in 0.74 seconds.

The smartphone runs on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie. It has all the usual connectivity features like Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS. The device runs on a 3765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

Dimensions of the phone are 161.2×76×9.4mm and its weight is 191g.

Price, Availability

The Realme X price in China starts at 1499 yuan (Rs. 15,325 approx.) for the 4GB/64GB model and it goes up to 1799 yuan (Rs. 18,395 approx.) for the top-end 8GB/128GB version. It comes in Steam White and Punk blue colors.

Master Edition

The company also announced Realme X Master Edition which is designed by Naoto Fukasaw. It comes in Onion and Garlic White colors with unique patterns at back. Its price is 1899 yuan (Rs. 19,410 approx.) and it will go on sale in China from May 20.
