OnePlus has announced the OnePlus 7 sale in India and the new flagship killer will be available from June 4. OnePlus 7 has been launched at Rs. 32,999 for the 6GB/128GB version and goes up to Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB/256GB version.
Just before the launch of OnePlus 7 series, Amazon India offered a huge discount on OnePlus 6T. The 8GB/128GB version of 6T is still available at Rs. 32,999.
However, we still suggest you not to buy the discounted OnePlus 6T now and wait for the Oneplus 7 sale? We tell you why.
5 Reasons to wait for OnePlus 7
The new OnePlus 7 will come with the latest Qualcomm chipset- Snapdragon 855. While the OnePlus 6T comes with the last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. Both are the top-rated chips and you will hardly find any major difference in terms of performance. However, Snapdragon 855 is the latest one and has an upper hand.
Another big reason why you should wait for OnePlus 7 is 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor. This is the latest sensor from the Sony that offers 12MP resolution images with great clarity even in low light. The camera clicks really good pictures.
On the other hand, OnePlus 6T comes with a 16MP Sony IMX 519 sensor which also offers good results, but not as good as Sony IMX586.
If we talk about the front camera, there is a 16MP camera but with a different sensor. The OnePlus 6T uses a Sony IMX 371 sensor while OnePlus 6T comes with an IMX 471 sensor.
UFS 3.0 Storage
The next reason, you should wait for OnePlus 7 is it comes with UFS 3.0 type storage. Moreover, you get up to 256 GB storage on OnePlus 7, which is also available with 6T. But with UFS 3.0 technology, you can quickly transfer files or move around within the device. It is much quicker than the UFS 2.1 storage on 6T.
The one thing that was missing on OnePlus flagships until now is a stereo speaker. Now, OnePlus has finally come with new dual stereo speakers powered by Dolby Atmos in the OnePlus 7 series. These speakers offer a great immersive sound whether you’re playing a game, watching a movie or just listening to music.
Last but not least, OnePlus 7 also comes in two new colors- Mirror Gray and Red. OnePlus 6T, on the other hand, comes only in black colors with different shades- Midnight Black and Mirror Black. This must also be a reason, you should choose the OnePlus 7.
With its Snapdragon 855 mobile platform, UFS 3.0 storage, dual stereo speakers, 48MP rear camera, upgraded selfie camera, and new looks, the OnePlus 7 offers a powerful and immersive smartphone experience overall. At the same price, you are getting only 2GB more RAM with 6T and you’ll have to compromise on all these things. So buying 6T now is not a good idea and you should definitely wait for the OnePlus 7.
