HMD Global today launched the Nokia 2.2 Android One phone in India. The company’s latest budget smartphone comes with features like a 5.71-inch HD+ screen, MediaTek Helio A22 processor with up to 3GB RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera.
The latest Nokia 2.2 phone also sports a dedicated Google Assistant Button just like the other Nokia phones of this year. Let’s check out its full specs, price and availability details.
Nokia 2.2 Specifications
The Nokia 2.2 sports a 5.71-inch HD+(720 x 1520 pixels) TFT LCD 19:9 aspect ratio display. It is powered by a Quad-Core MediaTek Helio A22 12nm processor with up to 3GB RAM. It packs up to 32GB storage that is expandable up to 400GB with microSD.
The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box. It also comes with 2 years of Android and 3 years of security updates promise. Connectivity features include triple slots, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, and 3.5 mm headphone jack.
In the camera department, there is a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 1.12um pixel size. It comes with AI low-light and HDR features. There is a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12um pixel size.
The handset packs a 3,000mAh removable battery. It has support for face unlock but it doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor. Dimensions of the device are 145.96 x 70.56 x 9.3 mm and its weight is 153g.
Price, Availability
The Nokia 2.2 price in India starts at Rs. 6999 for the 2GB RAM/16GB storage version. The 3GB RAM/32GB storage version is priced at Rs. 7999. The company that this is limited-period pricing and after June 30th, it will increase.
It will go on sale from June 11 through Nokia.com/phones, Flipkart and some offline retailers. It sports a plastic back cover and comes in Steel and Tungsten Black colors. The company will also offer changeable Nokia Xpress-on covers with it.
