Xiaomi Mi Band 4 Launch Set for June 11; Check Features

Xiaomi has officially confirmed that it will launch the Mi Band 4 at an event in China on June 11th. The successor to last year’s Mi Band 3 will be smarter and stylish than ever. The company has even confirmed that the new Mi Band will sport a bigger and colored screen. It also promises better battery life compared to the previous model.

Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun has also shared a poster of the Mi Band 4 which hints it will come in several funky colors. The new teaser also shows the color display of the new Mi Band and strap in Red, Blue, Black, Brown and more colors.

If we talk about Mi Band 4 features, a recent leak confirmed the OLED color screen with a larger display area. Moreover, it also showed a heart rate sensor on the back with a charging connector below it. To recall, the earlier Mi bands had charging connector on the bottom.

The Mi Band 4 was also certified recently in China with model numbers XMSH08HM and XMSH07HM. The certification revealed Bluetooth 5.0 support in both models and NFC support in the XMSH08HM model. It is expected to come with a 135mAh battery compared to 110mAh battery in the Mi Band 3.


If we talk about pricing, it is rumored to be priced around 199 yuan in China. Going by Xiaomi’s previous record the Mi Band 4 is expected to come at a similar price tag as the Mi Band 3 in India. We will know all the Mi Band details when it launches next week. The company will soon launch it in India.
