The Samsung Galaxy A80 India launch is expected very soon. The company has placed outdoor ads for the same in Delhi NCR. The Galaxy A80 comes with a rotating triple camera module with a 48-megapixel sensor and the latest Snapdragon 730G processor.
Samsung updates its Galaxy A series earlier this year and the Galaxy A80 is the latest addition to it. It was launched back in April globally and now it is expected to launch in India. It has also been listed on the Samsung India website with a ‘Notify Me’ page.
Galaxy A80 Specifications
The new Galaxy A80 features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display. Since it has a rotating camera module that also works as a front camera, there is more screen space without any notch or whatsoever. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The device is powered by a new Snapdragon 730G 8nm processor. This latest Snapdragon chipset is designed especially for better gaming on mid-range phones. The Galaxy A80 comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
There is a rotating triple camera set up that works as both front and rear camera. It houses a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture, an 8-megapixel 123° ultra-wide camera, and a 3D depth camera.
The device packs a 3700mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. It runs on Android 9 Pie with Samsung One UI on top. Connectivity options are Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS, and USB Type-C port. The phone lacks a 3.5mm jack.
Galaxy A80 Price in India (expected)
At its global launch in Thailand, the company announced the Galaxy A80 at a price of EUR 649 (Rs. 50,500 approx.). The company could bring Galaxy A80 in India in the Rs. 45,000- Rs. 50,000 price segment which is also hinted by the company back in April.
