Earlier last month, Samsung has introduced two new image sensors for smartphones including the 64-megapixel ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor. The new GW1 sensor works on Pixel-merging Tetra cell technology and offers 16MP images in low-light conditions.
It works by merging four pixels into one to increase light sensitivity and offering high-quality 64MP brighter shots. The new 64 MP sensor also supports real-time HDR of up to 100-decibels that provides rich colors. It also comes with Dual Conversion Gain (DCG) and Super Phase Detection features.
