Thomas confirmed via a Weibo post that the upcoming Mi MIX phone will come with a camera that is “better than” the 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 sensor. To recall, Realme is expected to launch a device with a GW1 sensor, so Xiaomi would not want to stay behind its rival.

Xiaomi may launch Mi MIX 4 with a yet-to-released sensor. Recently, Qualcomm hinted that a camera sensor of up to 100-megapixel could come this year. This means that Xiaomi could either come with a better and even higher resolution sensor.

Xiaomi may also use a 64MP sensor from Sony to counter the Realme phone with Samsung sensor. Moreover, the Mi Mix is also rumored to have a DxOMark score of 115 points.

Furthermore, as we all know the Mi MIX series has been especially known for its design since the beginning. The recent leak also suggests that Mi MIX 4 will come with major design changes and one of them could be the under-display camera, which Xiaomi also teased a few days ago.

Moreover, the handset is expected to sport an AMOLED screen with HDR10+ support and 2K resolution as well as a refresh rate of 120Hz. Previous leaks also hinted that the Mi Mix 4 smartphone will come with IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
