OPPO has now confirmed that the OPPO K3 India launch will happen on July 19. The smartphone will be available via Amazon as the teaser page is live.
OPPO K3 is the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the K series that was launched in China. OPPO India has been teasing the launch of OPPO K3 in India via Amazon.in. The teaser also confirms that it will come with the same specs as its Chinese variant.
The key features of the smartphone include a Full HD+ notch-less AMOLED display, in-display fingerprint scanner, Snapdragon 710 with up to 8GB RAM, dual rear camera and pop-up front camera.

OPPO K3 Design and Display: Pop-up design
The OPPO K1 has a 3D gradient S-shaped design on the back. It sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+(2340 x 1080 pixels) 19.5:9 aspect ratio AMOLED no-notch display with 91.1% screen-to-body ratio and DC dimming feature.
It sports an in-display fingerprint sensor that is 28.5% faster than the previous generation. The device comes in Nebula Purple, Green and White colors.
OPPO K3 Hardware: Another SD 710 Phone
Under the hood, the device is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 710 10nm processor with Adreno 616 GPU and GameBoost 2.0. It packs up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.1 storage.
OPPO K3 Cameras: Dual and Pop-up
The smartphone sports a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP secondary depth camera. It sports a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The pop-up camera lifts in 0.74 seconds and it has been tested over 200,000 times.
OPPO K3 Battery and Connectivity
The smartphone packs a 3765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 on top. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C.
OPPO K3 India Price, Availability
The OPPO K3 price in China starts at 1599 yuan (Rs. 16,105 approx.) for the 6GB/64GB version. The 8GB/128GB version costs 1899 yuan (Rs. 19,130 approx.) and the top-end 8GB/256GB version costs 2299 yuan (Rs. 23,160 approx.).
So, OPPO K3 price in India could start at Rs. 15,990 and go up to Rs. 22,990.
The handset will go on sale in China from June 1 and after that, it is expected to be launched in India. So its India launch could happen around mid-June.
