Nokia 8.2 to Come with 32MP Pop-up Selfie Camera

According to a new report, Nokia 8.2 will come with a 32MP pop-up selfie camera. So this successor to Nokia 8.1 could be the Nokia’s first smartphone to come with a pop-up camera design. The smartphone is expected to run on Android Q and pack up to 8GB RAM.

To recall, HMD Global launched Nokia 8.1 last year and its successor is still due. Now we have leaked information from tipster Ishan Agarwal regarding the Nokia 8.2. As per the report, Nokia 8.2 will come with a 32MP pop-up camera.

Nokia 8.2 Expected Features

The leak suggests that Nokia 8.2 will come with a 32MP pop-up front camera as we have seen on Vivo’s V15 Pro. The report claims that the phone is expected to come with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It will run on Android Q operating system.

The new Nokia phone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 Series processor, probably an unannounced Snapdragon 735 processor.

Nokia 8.1

The Nokia 8.1 features a premium design but it has a notched screen. So a pop-up camera would be a big upgrade. Nokia has already launched a smartphone with punch-hole design earlier this year, now Nokia’s attempt at a pop-up camera design with Nokia 8.2 will be interesting to see.

Currently, there is no official information on the Nokia 8.2 launch date yet. However, considering Google will announce the final Android Q update next month, we expect the smartphone might go official after that.
