Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+ Launched: Specs, Price in India, Availability and Offers

Samsung has finally announced its Galaxy Note 10 series smartphones at an event in the US last night. As expected, there are two phones in Note 10 series- Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note10+. The key features of the smartphones include dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O displays, in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner,  and a Bluetooth-enabled S Pen.

The new Samsung flagships are powered by Snapdragon 855 or Exynos 9825 7nm SoCs depending on the region. The Galaxy Note10+ also has a 5G variant. The Note10 sports triple rear cameras while the Note10+ also comes with an additional ToF rear camera.

Both the flagships sport a glass body with Gorilla Glass 6 protection and IP68 ratings. They come with support for wired and wireless fast charging as well as new wireless PowerShare feature to charge other Qi-compatible devices.

Galaxy Note 10 Series Price in India, Availability

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 price in India has been set at Rs. 69,999 for the lone 8GB + 256GB version. The Galaxy Note10+ price in India starts at Rs. 79,999 for the 12GB + 256GB version and goes up to Rs. 89,999 for the 12GB + 512GB version.


The new Galaxy Note 10 phones’ pre-order will begin from Samsung Online Shop, Flipkart, Amazon.in, Paytm and Tata CLiQ starting today. The handsets will be available for purchase from August 23 in  India as well as globally.

Launch Offers

Talking about launch offers, HDFC Bank customers who pre-order the devices on offline stores and Samsung online shop will get a cashback of Rs. 6,000.

Similarly, ICICI Bank customers who pre-book the phones on Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm & Tata CLiQ will also get Rs. 6,000 cashback.

Also, all pre-booking customers will also get the Galaxy Watch Active at just Rs. 9,999 which is currently priced at Rs. 19,990.

Galaxy Note10, Galaxy Note10+ Specifications

The Galaxy Note10 packs a 6.3-inch FHD+ (2280×1080 pixels) and the Note10+ sports a 6.8-inch Quad HD+ (3040 × 1440 pixels) Curved Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display. The display on both phones come with HDR10+ support and Gorilla Glass 6 protection.

The devices are powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC with Adreno 640 GPU or Exynos 9 Series 9825 7nm processor with Mali-G76 MP12 GPU. The 5G variant of the Note 10+ features the Snapdragon X50 modem.

The Note 10 packs 8GB RAM with 256GB UFS 3.0 storage, and Note 10+ packs 12GB RAM with up to 512GB UFS 3.0 storage. The Note 10 doesn’t have microSD card option while Note 10+ has expandable memory up to 1TB.

These run Android 9.0 Pie with OneUI on top. They also come with Samsung services including Bixby, Samsung Health, and Samsung Pay. The devices also feature Samsung DeX for a simple, compatible USB connection on PCs.

In terms of camera, they both sport a 12MP Dual Pixel primary rear camera with f/1.5-f/2.4 variable aperture and OIS. They have a 12MP Telephoto lens with 45° FoV, OIS and a 16MP 123° Ultra Wide sensor. The Note 10+ also has an additional VGA DepthVision camera that can scan an object, and instantly offer a movable 3D rendering.

On the front, they both sport a 10MP Dual Pixel selfie camera with 80° wide-angle lens and f/2.2 aperture. The camera is placed inside the hole on the display.

The devices are water and dust resistant with an IP68 rating. Their ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor reads the 3D contours of thumbprint for anti-spoofing. Other sensors include Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyro, Geomagnetic, Hall Sensor, Proximity, and RGB light sensor.

The devices sport stereo speakers and also have surround sound with Dolby Atmos technology support. They come with USB Type-C earphones tuned by AKG. Connectivity options are Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax (2.4/5GHz), VHT80 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 5, GPS+GLONASS, NFC, and MST.

The Note 10 packs a 3,500mAh battery and Note 10+ has a 4,300mAh battery. They both support fast wired charging, fast wireless charging, and PowerShare feature. The Note 10+ also supports 45W Super Fast Charging that promises one-day usage in just 30 minutes. However, you have to purchase the 45W charger separately.

The Bluetooth-enabled S-Pen comes with a 6-axis sensor including Gyro and Acceleration Sensor. It also comes with air actions, customizable gesture controls, handwriting-to-text conversion to Word, PDF, etc. It packs a Lithium-titanate battery that lasts 10 hours on a single charge and the pen weighs just 3.04 grams.

The Galaxy Note 10+ comes in Aura Glow, Aura White, and Aura Black colors and the Note 10 comes in Aura Glow, Aura Red, and Aura Black options.

Dimensions of Note10 are 71.8 x 151.0 x 7.9mm and its weight is 168g. Dimensions of Note 10+ are 77.2 x 162.3 x 7.9mm and its weight is 196g.
