OPPO launched the OPPO Reno2 series in India today. The OPPO Reno2 is the top-end variant in the series that is the successor to Reno 10x Zoom which was launched back in May this year. The key feature of OPPO Reno2 is its quad-camera set up with a 48MP sensor that supports up to 20x digital zoom.
The new OPPO Reno looks exactly like the Reno 10X Zoom with ‘shark fin’ rising front camera design. However, apart from the cameras, it also has different hardware i.e. Snapdragon 730G. Let’s check out full specs, price and availability details of Reno2.
OPPO Reno 2 Specifications
The Reno2 sports a 6.55-inch dynamic AMOLED panoramic screen, with FHD+ (2400×1080 pixels) resolution. The full-screen display comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio and offers a screen-to-body ratio of 93.1%. The display panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 6.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a new Snapdragon 730G 8nm processor with Adreno 618 GPU. It is further paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and packs UFS 2.1 storage which is expandable up to 256GB.
In the camera department, it sports a quad-camera set up with a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, a 13MP telephoto lens for 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP mono lens. There is a 16MP motorized pop-up camera at the front.
Connectivity options include 3.5mm audio jack, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and USB Type-C. The device packs a 4000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.
The OPPO Reno2 also features an in-display fingerprint sensor. The back panel is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and comes in Ocean Blue and Luminous Black colors. Dimensions of the phone are 160×74.3×9.5mm and its weight is 189g.
OPPO Reno2 Price, Availability
The OPPO Reno 2 price has been set at Rs. 36,990 for the only 8GB/256GB model. The smartphone will be available for pre-order from September 10th via Amazon.in, Flipkart and other online and offline retailers. The sale will start on 20th September.
