Samsung dropped some of the most awaited smartphones; the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+. The smartphone comes with an even upgraded S Pen which can let you control the phone using gestures. The price point of the Galaxy Note 10 is a bit high so if you want a flagship smartphone with no compromises except for headphone jack, just go fo it.
If you are still skeptical about buying the Galaxy Note 10 then here we tell you five reasons to clear your doubts about Note 10.
The Design: Aura Glow
Samsung released one of the most beautiful smartphones and the Galaxy Note 10 is no exception. The smartphone looks amazing and if you are into that blocky look of a phone like me then you will love the new Galaxy Note 10. The rear of the phone comes with gorilla glass and the new shiny Aura design adds another layer to the beauty.
The build quality is also no concern on a Samsung smartphone. You get a sturdy metal frame on the Galaxy Note 10 with Gorilla Glass on the front and the back as well. The right side of the phone is completely clean while the power button and the volume rocker is on the left side.
On the top are the earpiece or the secondary loudspeaker and the SIM card tray. At the bottom is the Type C port along with the S Pen cavity and the primary loudspeaker. The one-hand feel of the phone is good but there is no way you can use the phone with one hand. The One UI is not a great help as well, you have to use your other hands to reach the top of the display.
The Gorgeous Bezel-less Display: Dynamic AMOLED
Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ comes with a 5.8 inches Dynamic AMOLED display with the Samsung’s signature curved edge design. The resolution is QHD+ and you can run it on FHD+ to save some battery and performance. The display comes with a punch-hole design placed at the centre instead of being at one of the corners of the display. And unlike last time with Galaxy S10, Samsung is not trying to hide this punch hole under some wallpaper.
Even we can notice the punch hole, it’s so small that it doesn’t interfere with anything on the screen. I played games and watched a lot of movies and played games but the punch hole seems to disappear when you get into the content. Other than the hole, the display has super thin bezels on the top and the bottom providing a seamless experience for consuming multimedia.
The Camera: 113 DxO mark
The camera in the Galaxy Note 10+ is a quad-camera setup which includes a 12M main sensor, a 12MP telephoto, a 16 MP wide camera and a ToF sensor. The smartphone got everything covered in a single setup. You can take great pictures with the main sensor, capture the landscape using the wide sensor or zoom into the view using the telephoto lens.
The selfie sensor on Note 10+ is a 10MP sensor which is capable of shooting 4K videos making it only smartphone to do that. The smartphone has almost every camera feature which you can find in a modern flagship smartphone.
The S Pen Of course: Remote Control
Samsung Galaxy Note series has one distinct built-in accessory which is called the S Pen. This small stylus is one of the most advanced styli I have ever used excluding the Apple Pencil. The S Pen provides a very real pen to paper experience and its 4096 pressure sensitivity takes it to a whole another level.
The S Pen this time is not just a stylus but also a remote control for your Galaxy Note 10. Some of the most significant features can be used remotely using the S pen. You can control the camera user interface, the presentations and the music (the app needs to be opened.) It comes with a gyroscope and an accelerometer which record your gestures and send it to the phone to perform the specific commend.
The Performance: Exynos 9825 & 12GB RAM
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ comes with the Exynos 9825 processor paired with 12GB RAM on the top variant. The smartphone runs on the latest Android 9 Pie layered with Samsung’s One UI on top. The smartphone runs smoothly with almost no stutter or lags anywhere on the user interface or the multitasking.
The gaming is what you expect from a flagship smartphone with lots of RAM and a 7nm processor. The smartphone gets hot quickly during gaming and cools down quickly after the session. The Galaxy Note 10 handles every game smoothly with no lag or artefacts visible in the gameplay at all.
Wrapping up
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ is not for everyone, there are lots of manufacturers selling the same specs at a much lesser price point. So, if you know you want the features which Samsung is providing you should go fo it. And don’t worry about the headphone jack, every flagship phone is getting rid of it.
