Samsung Galaxy A90 5G Launched: Specifications, Price & Availability

Samsung announced the Galaxy A90 5G smartphone in Korea. The company’s first 5G phone in its ‘A series’ packs an Infinity-U Super AMOLED display, an in-display fingerprint scanner, Snapdragon 855 with Qualcomm’s X50 modem for 5G connectivity, up to 8GB of RAM, triple rear cameras with a 48-megapixel sensor and a 32MP front camera.

The new Galaxy A90 5G is also the first phone in the Galaxy A Series that comes with Samsung DeX support that lets you mirror your phone onto your desktop. Let’s check out full specs, price and availability details of Galaxy A90 5G.

Samsung Galaxy A90 5G Specifications

The Galaxy A90 5G sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+(2400 x 1080 pixels) Infinity-U Super AMOLED display. It also sports an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The device is powered by Snapdragon 855 7nm processor with Adreno 640 GPU. It packs up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. The storage on the 6GB RAM model is expandable up to 512GB.


In the camera department, it has a triple rear camera set up with a 48MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, an 8MP 123° ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture.

The camera features include Super Steady mode, Scene Optimizer, and Flaw Detector. There is a 32MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture that also comes with Live Focus Mode.

Connectivity features include 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz) VHT80 MIMO, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C 3.1. It doesn’t sport a 3.5mm headphone jack and comes with USB Type-C audio instead.

The phone is powered by a 4500mAh battery with 25W super-fast charging support. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie with Samsung One UI on top.

The phone sports glass body that has a unique geometric pattern on the back and comes in Black or White colors. Dimensions of the handset are 164.8 x 76.4 x 8.4 mm and its weight is 206g.

Price, Availability

The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G is priced at 899,800 won (Rs. 53,000 approx.). The phone will go on sale from September 4 in Korea and will expand to other markets soon.
