HMD Global announced Nokia 7.2 Android One smartphone at the IFA 2019 event in Berlin on Thursday. The company’s latest mid-range phone has a PureDisplay with HDR 10 support, packs Snapdragon 660 processor and sports a 48MP triple rear cameras with ZEISS optics fitted in a circular module.
Nokia‘s new phone is made from a polymer composite which is twice as strong as polycarbonate and half the weight of aluminum. The device also features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front and the back.

Nokia 7.2 Specifications
The Nokia 7.2 sports a 6.39-inch Full HD+( 1080 × 2340 pixels) 19.5:9 aspect ratio PureDisplay with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The display comes with HDR 10 support and has a dedicated Pixelworks visual processor to upscale content to HDR in real-time.
The phone is powered by Snapdragon 660 14nm processor with Adreno 512 GPU. It packs up to 6GB LPPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage. The storage is expandable up to 512GB with microSD.
The triple camera set up on the phone has a 48MP primary Quad Pixel camera with f/1.79 aperture, ZEISS optics, an 8MP 118° ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. The camera comes with AI features such as Portrait mode with ZEISS bokeh styles and Night mode. There is a 20MP Quad Pixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture and ZEISS optics.
Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, Type-C 2.0, NFC, and 3.5 mm headphone jack. It sports a fingerprint sensor on the back and a side-mounted Google Assistant button.
The smartphone runs on stock Android 9 Pie with Android One program and thus it is also upgradable to Android 10. The device packs a 3,500mAh battery.
Dimensions of the phone are 159.88 x 75.11 x 8.25mm and its weight is 180g. The phone will be available in Cyan Green, Charcoal and Ice colors.

The Nokia 7.2 is priced at €299 (Rs.23,700 approx.) and will be available from September.
