Samsung Galaxy A30s with Super AMOLED Display, Triple Cameras Launched in India: Price, Specs

Samsung just launched the Galaxy A30s smartphone in India. The company’s latest mid-range smartphone in its A series is a successor to Galaxy A30 which was launched earlier this year. It comes with several upgrades such as triple rear cameras compared to the dual cameras on A30 and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The new Samsung Galaxy A30s comes with a few downgrades as well. It sports an HD+ Infinity-V Super AMOLED display compared to FHD+ display on the A30.

Samsung Galaxy A30s Specifications

The new Galaxy A30s sports a 6.4-inch HD+(1560 x 720 pixels) Infinity-V Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint reader.

It is powered by the same Octa-Core Exynos 7904 14nm processor with Mali-G71 GPU. This is further paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB Storage which is expandable up to 512GB via micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie with Samsung One UI.

The triple camera set up on the phone has a 25MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. There is a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity features include 3.5mm audio jack, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The phone packs a 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging.

Design-wise, it has a new geometric back pattern with a holographic effect, called Prism cut and comes in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White and Prism Crush Violet colors. Dimensions of the phone are 158.5 x 74.7 x 7.8mm and its weight is 166g.

Price & Availability

The Galaxy A30s price in India has been set at Rs. 16,999 for the only 4GB RAM, 64GB storage option. The phone will be available via offline channels, Samsung e-shop & leading online portals including Amazon, Flipkart starting from today, September 11.

Talking about launch offers, Jio and Airtel users can enjoy Double Data on select plans. Vodafone and Idea customers can get Rs. 75 cashback.
