The flagship device comes with some great features like 90Hz fluid display, Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, 64MP quad camera and 50W Super VOOC Flash charge support. The phone comes at a starting price of Rs. 29,999 in India and will be available via Flipkart starting from November 26 as early access.

So, if you are impressed with the features and specs of the realme flagship and planning to buy one, you should go through this first impressions article below.

Realme X2 Pro First Impressions

Design: Glass Back & Metal Frame

Starting with the design, realme X2 Pro is really a premium device. Its body is encased in metal and glass, coming in two color options- White and Blue, which looks beautiful. The back is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

The handset measures 8.7mm in thickness and weighs around 199 grams, which is not so heavy and the phone can be used by one hand easily. Overall, design-wise, the phone fits in the flagship level segment.

Display: 90Hz Super AMOLED

realme X2 Pro sports a big 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It’s waterdrop notch, ultra-narrow bezel and 3.65mm bottom chin give the device a 91.7% screen-to-body ratio that makes it incredibly light and thin – and easy to hold as well.

realme X2 Pro comes with a fluid AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, making it the
company’s smoothest display so far. In comparison to the other mobile phones in the market today, realme X2 Pro’s boasts an increase in frame rate with zero lag, allowing
users to play and surf smoothly.

There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner that unlocks the phone in just 0.23 seconds as per the company. The brightness and daylight visibility of the display is good.

Performance: Snapdragon 855 Plus

realme X2 Pro is powered by the 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, which
packs eight-core Kyro CPUs and Adreno 640 GPU. In comparison to the Snapdragon 855, it has one overclocked CPU core and a 15% boost in GPU rendering performance.

The new realme X2 Pro comes in two options – 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB
RAM with 256GB storage. It is equipped with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.0 storage to offer high speeds and next-level performance. You can play graphic intensive games with ease.

Cameras: 64MP Quad Camera

realme X2 Pro features the company’s flagship quad-camera set-up with a 64MP main camera having a Samsung GW1 sensor, a 13MP telephoto camera that will offer up to 2X optical zoom, an 8MP 115° ultra-wide-angle lens that will also click 2.5cm macro shots, and a 2MP portrait lens. There is a 16MP front camera. In our initial testing, the rear camera did an impressive job and clicked some good pictures.

Battery and Fast Charging: 50W Super VOOC

realme X2 Pro is packed with a 4000mAh battery that comes with 50W SuperVOOC Flash Charge technology support. According to the company, it gets you to full battery in 35 minutes. Surprisingly, in our testing, the fast charger bundled with the box charged our realme X2 Pro unit in just 28 minutes.

Others

If we talk about other features, the phone features all connectivity ports including the good old 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port. However, if you are looking to expand the storage, it will disappoint you as it lacks a microSD card slot. Further, sports a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support as well. The realme X2 Pro runs ColorOS 6.1 on top of Android 9 Pie.

Wrapping Up

Realme has left no stone unturned while making its first flagship device. The Realme X2 Pro ticks all the boxes for being a flagship-level phone- be it 90Hz fluid AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, UFS 3.0 storage, 64MP quad-camera, or 50W fast charger. The best thing about realme X2 Pro is its affordability. With such features, it competes directly to the likes of OnePlus 7T which is priced much higher than this.
