Xiaomi sub-brand POCO has been in the news for the past few days. After launching the POCO F1 smartphone back in 2018, the company has been silent for more than a year. Now, it looks like the company is working on a new smartphone. According to the latest reports, Xiaomi has recently filed a trademark for a phone with POCO F2 name. Separately, another smartphone by the name POCO X2 has surfaced on Geekbench.

The Geekbench listing reveals some details about the upcoming POCO phone. As per the benchmarking site, the phone will run Android 10 OS and will be powered by a 1.80GHz octa-core chipset from Qualcomm codenamed as “phoenixin,” but the chipset name is unknown at the moment.
It will be paired with 8GB of RAM. The phone scores 547 points in the single-core test and 1,767 points in the multi-core test. Interestingly, these scores are similar to what the Redmi K30 scored. So, will POCO X2 be a rebranded version of the Redmi K30 smartphone?

We will have to wait for that and it could be true also. If we talk about Redmi K30 specs, it comes in both 4G and 5G variants. The 4G variant gets Snapdragon 730G processor, while the 5G version is powered by the new Snapdragon 765G SoC.
The handset runs Android 10-based MIUI 11 out of the box. It has a 6.67-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The phone comes with a punch-hole display that houses dual selfie cameras- a 20MP main sensor + 2MP secondary depth sensor. For rear cameras, the Redmi K30 sports quad cameras with a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, an 8MP super wide-angle lens, 5MP macro (2MP macro in 4G variant), and a 2MP depth sensor. The device gets power from a 4500mAh battery that comes with up to 30W fast charging support.
