POCO India launched a smartphone after 18 months and the company has again set the smartphone market by storm by offering amazing features at an affordable cost. Just like POCO F1, the new POCO X2 makes the competition tough for others as it offers some great specs at a very lower price than others.
The POCO X2 comes with features like 120Hz display, Snapdragon 730G processor, 64MP quad rear cameras and a big 4,500mAh battery with 27W fast charging. With the same chipset and 64MP quad-camera, Xiaomi’s rival Realme has already launched a smartphone Realme X2 back in December. POCO X2 vs Realme X2: Design
POCO X2 comes with a 3D curved glass back with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. There’s a circular ring around the camera setup at the back. The back panel does not have any gradient effect but the phone comes in some vibrant colors including Atlantis Blue, Phoenix Red, and Matrix Purple that make it stand out.
Realme X2 also comes with a glass back, with a back panel that is curved around the edges and creates a 3D effect. The phone also comes in some stunning colors including Pearl Green, Pearl Blue, and Pearl White and it is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
On the front, POCO X2 comes with a dual punch-hole display which has small cutouts for the front camera. On Realme X2, there is a traditional Dewdrop notch display that we have seen on most Realme phones.
The POCO X2 is not much slim like other phones these days and its weight is 208g. The realme X2, on the other hand, is slimmer and lighter than POCO X2. However, you can use both of them with one hand easily.
Another big difference in design is, POCO X2 comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner while Realme X2 comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Realme X2 sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display while POCO X2 comes with a taller 6.7-inch IPS LCD display. The major difference between the displays of these two phones is the 120Hz refresh rate that you get on the POCO X2. Realme X2 still sports 60Hz display.
So, if you like better colors and high contrasts then Realme X2’s AMOLED screen is right for you. But if you want a bigger display with a higher 120Hz refresh rate for smoother gaming, the POCO X2 is the right choice for you.

Both the phones sport quad cameras at the back with a 64-megapixel main sensor paired with 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. However, on POCO X2, you get a Sony IMX686 sensor while Realme X2 uses Samsung’s ISOCELL sensor.

Talking about software, POCO X2 runs the latest MIUI 11 based on Android 10. Whereas Realme device was launched with Android 9 based ColorOS, but now you will get Realme UI update based on Android 10 on it very soon.

On the battery front, the Poco X2 packs a massive 4500mAh battery with 27W fast charging support. The bundled 27W fast charger claims to charge the phone up to 44 percent in just 30 minutes. The Realme X2, on the other hand, packs a 4000mAh battery with support for VOOC 4.0 30W fast-charging system that can charge the device to 67 percent in 30 minutes.

As expected, POCO has priced its new phone quite aggressively. The POCO X2 price in India starts at 15,999 for the base 6GB+64GB variant. The 6GB+128GB model of the phone costs Rs 16,999 while the top 8GB+256GB model is priced Rs 19,999.
The Realme X2 price in India starts at Rs 16,999 for the base 4GB+64GB variant while the high-end variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 19,999.
Which one should you buy?
Coming to the conclusion, when we compare features and price the POCO X2 has all advantages over Realme X2. The former has a bigger and smoother display, a bigger battery, and a better camera performance. On the other hand, the Realme X2 comes with an AMOLED display and slightly faster-charging speed. If these things don’t matter much, you can go for the POCO X2 which will also save you some bucks.
