iQOO 3 Launching Soon as First Snapdragon 865-powered 5G Phone in India

Vivo’s iQOO sub-brand has announced that it will launch its first smartphone in India in February. Now, the company has also confirmed that it will be the iQOO 3 smartphone and will be launched on Flipkart. Even Flipkart has made a page about the same and it says that the phone will be revealed on February 17. However, it is doubtful if the phone will be launched in India on February 17 as it is scheduled to launch in China on February 25.

Gagan Arora, Director- iQOO India has confirmed that iQOO ‘s first smartphone will come in both 4G & 5G variants in India.

Recently, the TENAA listing has already revealed the specifications of the iQOO 3. As per leaks, it will be powered by Snapdragon 865 Mobile and come with 5G support. The phone will come also with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and will be the first phone to come with UFS 3.1 storage.

iQOO 3 rumored Specifications

The iQOO is expected to sport a 6.44-inch Full HD+(2400 × 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display. It will sport an in-display fingerprint sensor.


The device will be powered by Snapdragon 865 processor with Adreno 650 GPU. It will be paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone will run on Android 10 with Funtouch OS 10 or a dedicated UI for iQOO on top.

In the camera department, it is expected to sport a 64MP primary camera with a Sony IMX686 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide sensor, a 13MP telephoto lens for lossless zoom, and a 2MP depth sensor. It could sport a 16MP front camera.

Connectivity features on the phone will include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The phone will be powered by a 4500 battery with 55W Super FlashCharge support.

Dimensions of the device are expected to be 158.51×74.88×9.16mm and its weight could be 214.5g.

These specs are based on leaks and rumors, so there be changes when the phone launches.
