Xiaomi could be planning to launch another phone in its Redmi Note 9 series. A new phone from the company’s Redmi brand in China has been certified by TENAA with the model number M2003J15SC. Reports say that it will be launched as Redmi 10X in China.
Also, it is expected that it will come as Redmi Note 9 in India. The Redmi phone with the same model number has appeared on the BIS certification site in India.
The TENAA listing also reveals its design as well as specs. The key specs of the phone could be FHD+ punch-hole display, 48MP quad rear cameras, and a 5020mAh battery with 18W fast charging, just like the Redmi Note 9 Pro series.
The listing also says a 2GHz processor will power the smartphone, which could be Helio G85. This will be an enhanced version of Helio G80.

Design and Display
If we talk about design, the alleged Note 9 comes with a punch-hole in the top left corner of the display compared to the top center in the Note 9 Pro. Also, the fingerprint sensor has moved to the back from the side button. Moreover, the camera module is that same but flash is moved to the right side of the module.
Dimensions of the handset will be 162.3×77.2×8.9mm, its weight will be 198g and it will come in Blue, Black, Green, Pink, Red, and White colors. As per the listing, the Note 9 will come with a 6.53-inch Full HD+ (2340 × 1080 pixels) display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Helio G85 Processor
Under the hood, it will get a 2GHz Octa-Core processor which could be MediaTek Helio G85, which is an enhanced version of Helio G80. It will pack up to 6GB LPPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.1 storage that will be expandable up to 512GB with microSD.
48MP Quad Rear Camera
In terms of camera, its quad rear camera setup will include a 48MP primary camera with PDAF, EIS, 0.8μm pixel size, an 8MP 120° ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. There will be a 13MP front camera.
Connectivity
Connectivity features will include Dual SIM, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C.
Battery and Fast Charging
The device will pack a 5020mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Price, Availability
As per the reports, Redmi 10X is expected to start at 999 yuan in China. Also, the Redmi Note 9 could be priced below Note 9 Pro which starts at Rs. 12,999 in India. So, the phone may cost Rs. 9,999 in India just like the Redmi Note 8.
The phone will be launched globally on April 30. It is expected to launch next month in China as well as in India.
