Motorola Edge and Edge+ with 90Hz Curved OLED Display, 5G Support Launched: Specs & Price

Motorola has just launched its Edge and Edge+ 5G smartphones with a brand new design all around. Both smartphones come with a big display with curved edges and high refresh rates. Both the smartphones are rocking the latest 5G chips from Qualcomm and both of them are 5G supported.

Motorola Edge+ Specifications

Motorola Edge+ comes with a 6.7 inches display with FHD+ resolution, 90HZ refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 865 processor paired with 12GB DDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. The smartphone runs on Android 10 out of the box with some customization built on.

 

It sports a 108MP sensor which is paired with a 16MP wide-angle sensor, an 8MP sensor with a telephoto zoom, and a depth sensor. The smartphone got a 25MP sensor at the front for selfies. The smartphone comes with a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging and 15W wireless charging support.

Motorola Edge specifications

The Motorola Edge is a trimmed down version of the Edge+ 5G with a 6.7 inches display and 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone sports a Snapdragon 765 chip which is paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. It also comes with Android 10 running out of the box with some customization built into it.


The Motorola Edge comes with a triple camera step including a 64MP sensor, a 16MP wide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens for 2X optical zoom. The front got the same 25MP sensor for selfies and facial recognition unlock. A 4500 mAh battery is included with 18 Watt fast charging supported via USB Type-C port.

Pricing and Availability

The Motorola Edge+ 5G comes in two colors; Thunder Grey and Smokey Sangria. It is priced at $999 which is approximately Rs 76,445. The Motorola Edge comes in Solar Black and Midnight Magenta and comes at a starting price of $756 which is Rs 57,810 approx. The smartphone will be available from 14th May in some regions and will come to India soon.
