Vivo V19 First Impressions: Truth of Six Cameras?

Vivo finally released the Vivo V19 in India with some great features like powerful hardware, new dual punch-hole design and a price to make up for it. The smartphone comes with an AMOLED display, quad camera, dual selfie camera, and a big battery with fast charging support. Here’s our first impression of the new Vivo flagship.

Design: Sleek Yet Solid

The Vivo V19 is a beautiful device with a glass back and slim form factor which makes it easy to hold. The smartphone comes with a 3D glass back which is protected by the sixth generation of Corning Gorilla Glass.

Other than this, the smartphone is pretty slim and lightweight making it easier to hold in hands. The smartphone is only 8.5 mm thick and weighs only 186 grams which are pretty lightweight. The smartphone comes in two gorgeous colors; Mystic Silver and Piano Black.

Display: Can’t be better than this

Vivo V19 comes with a dual iView display which is a 6.44 inches Super AMOLED panel for amazing picture quality. The display comes with an FHD+ resolution and it supports HDR10 contents as well.


The display comes with a wide punch hole on it for the dual selfie cameras at the top right corner. It won’t bother you when you are watching movies on this big and bright display with super-narrow bezels.

Performance: Liquid Cooling

The Vivo V19 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor for smooth performance. To up the performance and seamless multitasking, the smartphone is equipped with 8GB LPDD4X RAM. The smartphone is equipped with 128 GB UFS 2.1 storage for faster read and write speeds.

The Vivo V19 comes with some amazing addition and customization to get the highest performance for your gaming. The smartphone comes with copper cool technology which keeps the temperature lower while gaming.

Operating System: Android 10/ FunTouch OS 10

The Vivo V19 comes running the Funtouch OS 10 which is based on the latest Android 10 OS with a couple of customizations. It has a Jovi assistant powered smart screen feature which shows all your important tasks and numbers on a single screen which can be accessed from the hole screen.

Camera: Six Cameras?

The camera is the main component of the Vivo V19, it comes with a quad-camera setup at the back and dual camera setup at the front. The quad-camera at the back includes a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP wide-angle pictures, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor for bokeh in the portrait pictures.

The rear camera comes with features like Super night mode for better pictures at night. It also comes with a macro mode to capture small objects with crisp clarity. The Wide-angle lens lets you capture 120 degree wide panoramic pictures which lets you capture more in a single shot.

The smartphone comes with a dual-camera at the front which is placed inside the display in a pill-shaped cavity. The dual selfie camera includes a 32MP main sensor and an 8MP super wide-angle camera for group selfies.

 

The camera includes various amazing features like super night selfies, layer-based beautification. It also comes with Aura Screen Light which illuminated the screen to create bright selves in the dark environment. The wide lens in the selfies camera lets you capture a 105-degree wide picture to grab more in a single shot.

Battery and Charging

Vivo V19 comes with a 4500 mAh big battery for your all-day of usage. You can use it for more than one day easily with optimal usage. It comes with a 33W Flash Charge 2.0 charger which charges the smartphone from 0 to 70 percent in just 40 minutes.

Wrapping up

The Vivo V19 is a great smartphone with a nice build quality and powerful hardware at such a reasonable price. It is priced at Rs 27,990 for the 128GB variant and Rs 31,990 for the 256GB variant. So, this seems to be a good deal if you are looking for a new phone.
