WhatsApp has added a really nice feature in WhatsApp which makes it unnecessary to save a contact number to send a message. Just like in Snapchat, Facebook Messanger, and Instagram, we now have profile QR codes for WhatsApp profile. This feature is available in beta right now but soon it will be available to the regular version.
This feature lets you share your own profile QR code or scan other QR codes to add them to your WhatsApp contacts list. This is a really nice feature and here is a quick step by step guide to tell you how you can use this feature to scan or share WhatsApp profile QR codes.
Steps to Share Profile QR codes on WhatsApp
- First, makes sure you have the latest version of the WhatsApp beta app installed on your phone.
- Open WhatsApp and go to Settings, tap on the little QR code icon beside your profile.

- You will be presented with your profile QR code, you can share this QR code to anyone using the little share button above it.
- If you swipe left on this screen, you will launch the camera to scan WhatsApp profile QR codes.
