How to Use Twitter’s New Feature To Limit Replies To Your Tweets

Twitter has released a new feature that was in the testing for so long and finally, it’s here. This feature helps the user to limit the replies in the tweet and put some restrictions so the tweet won’t be bombarded by the opinions of the netizens. This limit reply feature on Twitter comes handy if you want to restrict the replies to your tweet.

This feature is just a little upgrade on the user interface and pretty simple to use. There are three options from which you can choose. You can either let people you follow to reply to your tweet. You can also let the people you only mentioned the tweet to reply to the tweet. Or you can completely turn off a reply to your tweets so no one can reply to your tweets.

This feature has been released to all the users and here we have a little guide to tell you how you can use this feature.

How to Use Twitter’s Reply Limit Feature

  1. Open Twitter and tap the Compose button on the top right corner.
  2. Below the text filed, you will see an option called “Everyone can reply.”
  3. Tap that option and you will be presented with three options; Everyone, People you follow, and Only people you mention.
  4. Choose the option which you want and just send the tweet.

Now only people you choose to reply will only be able to reply to your tweet. The reply button will be greyed out to other people who are not allowed to reply.
