Upcoming Smartphone Launches in India October 2020

October is a month of festivities, not only in India but also all over the world. Because of the fact smartphone companies take advantage of this month at the fullest and there are plenty of new launches during the whole month. This year, past the Corona pandemic, the smartphone industry has now returned to its track and launches are happening like ever.  So, here we have come up with a list of upcoming smartphones in India in October 2020.

POCO C3

After launching the POCO X3 last week, the company is now preparing for the launch of a budget smartphone in India on October 6. Known as POCO C3, the phone is rumored to a rebranded Redmi 9C that was launched in China back in June.

So we already know the specs of the phone. It will come with a 6.53-inch Dot notch display, MediaTek Helio G35 processor, 13MP primary rear camera along with a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor, and a 5000mAh battery.

Expected Price- Under Rs. 10,000

Realme 7i

Realme will expand its Realme 7 series with the launch of Realme 7i in India this month. The Realme 7i is the successor to Realme 6i which just came back in July.


The Realme 7i has also been launched in other markets. So, we know the specs and it will feature a 6.5-inch HD+ 90Hz display, 64MP quad rear camera setup, punch-hole selfie camera, Snapdragon 662 with 8GB of RAM and a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

Expected Price- Under Rs. 13,000

Samsung Galaxy F41

Samsung’s M series has become very popular among Indians so the company is trying to lure more customers with the same strategy. This time they’ve introduced F series and opted for Flipkart instead of Amazon. The Galaxy F41 will be the first phone in the new lineup.

As per the Flipkart teasers, the Galaxy F41 will sport a Super AMOLED Infinity-U display, 64MP triple rear cameras, and a big 6,000mAh battery. The leaks suggest that the phone will be powered by the mid-range Exynos 9611 chipset.

Expected Price- Under Rs. 18,000

OnePlus 8T 5G

This is the time when OnePlus always launches T variants of its smartphones. So the company is also ready to bring out the successor to the OnePlus 8 in mid-October. The OnePlus 8T will be the only device in the series this time as the company decided to drop the Pro variant.

The specs and features of OP 8T are also mostly out. It will feature a 6.55-inch 120Hz Fluid AMOLED screen, 48MP Quad Rear Camera, Snapdragon 865+ chipset, and a very fast 65W Warp charger for a 4,5000mAh battery. This will be the fastest on any OnePlus phone till date. We also know that the device will run on Android 11 out of the box.

Expected Price- Under Rs. 55,000

Pixel 4a

Google launched Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 at a global event yesterday. But that launch has nothing to do with India as the tech giant will not bring those devices in the country. Instead, it will launch Pixel 4a 4G version that was launched back in August. The company has also made Flipkart teaser live for the same.

If we talk about specs, Google Pixel 4a comes with a 5.81-inch Full HD+ OLED screen, Snapdragon 730G octa-core chipset, which is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, a 12.2MP rear camera with an f/1.7 aperture and OIS, an 8MP selfie shooter, and 3,140mAh battery.

Launch Date– October 17

Expected Price– Under Rs. 35,000

iPhone 12 Series

Apple is also expected to introduce iPhone 12 series very soon. Unlike like every year, the company did not launch the new iPhone lineup in September. Also, this year Apple could be launching as many as three phones, supposedly called- iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Just like always, nothing much is revealed about these devices as of now. However, we are expecting a slight design changes with curved displays. Also, there will be usual internal upgrades with the new A14 Bionic chipset. It may also include higher refresh rate displays and more capable cameras with the new sensors.

Expected Price– Start with Rs. 50,000
