Vivo V20 Pro: 5 Reasons to Buy | 2 Reasons Not to Buy

Vivo launched its latest phone in V series V20 Pro in India earlier this week. The new phone has highlight features as a dual selfie camera, sleek design, Snapdragon 765G processor, and 33W flash charge support.

Priced at Rs. 29,990, Vivo V20 Pro will be available from Amazon.in, Flipkart, Vivo online as well as offline stores across India. So, if you are already impressed with the phone after seeing the ad and teasers, let’s check some reasons for buying it and some reasons why you shouldn’t go for it.

Reasons to Buy Vivo V20 Pro

Sleek Design

One thing you would notice when you hold the Vivo V20 Pro is its thickness. The phone is very slim with just 7.3mm thickness, and it weighs just 170g, which makes it a perfect phone to hold and use with one hand.

Another good thing about Vivo V20 Pro’s design is its build quality. The phone is made of AG Matte glass which gives it premium look and its AF coating protects the glass from those unwanted fingerprint smears.

At the front, there is a bright, colorful, and big 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ screen resolution. The display comes with wide a notch that houses dual (44MP + 8MP) front cameras. The phone also supports an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Overall, design-wise the phone is very impressive.

64MP Rear Camera

We all know Vivo for “Camera and Music”, right? So this time again the Vivo flagship is equipped with a good camera setup on the back. The triple cameras on the rear include a 64MP Samsung sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens that can also shoot macro shots as well as bokeh shots, and a 2MP mono sensor.

Specs-wise, the camera looks quite appealing. Apart from that, it is loaded with some amazing photography features such as Super Night Mode, Tripod Night Mode, Motion Autofocus, etc.

Dual Front Camera

The selfie camera has also been a specialty of Vivo phones. The new V20 Pro sports dual front cameras with a 44MP primary Eye Autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP ultra-wide with f/2.28 aperture.

The front camera is also packed with various modes like Super Night Selfie 2.0, 4K Selfie videos at 60FPS, Slo-Mo Selfie Video, and Steadiface Selfie Video in which the frame and your face will always be steady and clear. You can also record videos with a selfie camera and rear camera at the same time.

Snapdragon 765G Processor

It is packed with powerful Snapdragon 765G processor which is the 5G supported flagship level chipset for mid-range devices. It makes the phone another affordable flagship with good performance. The phone also packs liquid cooling.

Fast Charging

The phone packs a 4000mAh battery which is charged with a 33W flash charge support. The fast charger comes inside the box and can fill the battery to 65% in just 30 minutes.

Reasons Not to Buy Vivo V20 Pro

Average Size Battery

The phone packs a 4000mAh battery. This sized battery is considered average these days when phones are packing up to 7000mAh battery. However, this should be enough for a day’s use.

Slightly Overpriced

This could probably be the strongest reason why one should not buy this Vivo flagship. Vivo V20 Pro price in India starts at Rs. 29,990. When other phones with such specs are even priced at Rs. 24,999 (Nord), V20 Pro seems a little overpriced.

Final Words

Vivo made a beautiful looking phone with some amazing specs, especially cameras and chipset. This could be your next purchase if you have this much budget.
