Customize Twitter Emails via Phone

Twitter sends out a variety of emails to our inboxes, which includes Direct messages sent to you, tweets emailed to you, top tweets and stories, and a lot more other things. You can customize them as per your liking, here are the steps to do it.

  • Open the Twitter App on your phone
  • Click on the Hamburger Menu
  • Go to Settings and Privacy, click on Notifications
  • Click on Email notification, under Preferences.
  • Here you can customize the email notifications to your preference by unchecking the boxes next to them.
  • We can also adjust the frequency of emails about top tweets and stories or can turn it off as well.

If you don’t want to any of such emails then you can just disable the toggle at the top.

Customize Twitter Emails via Web

If you are using Twitter via the web app, then in order to customize the twitter emails, you need to follow these steps.

  • Go to the Twitter website and login into your account
  • Click on the More Menu
  • Go to Settings and Privacy, click on Notifications
  • Click on Preferences, then go to email notifications
  • Similarly, you can customize the email notifications by unchecking the boxes next to them, change the frequency of top tweets, or turn them off, as per your liking. Or you can simply turn email notifications off.
