11 Things to Know Before Redmi Note 11 Series India Launch

Xiaomi introduced new smartphones in its popular Redmi Note series in China yesterday. There are three phones in the series this time including Redmi Note 11 Pro, Note 11 Pro+, and the vanilla Note 11 that has less powerful specs than the Pro devices. The Pro ones have similar specs except for the Plus variant has 120W fast charging and the regular Pro has a bigger battery. Just like earlier, the Redmi Note 11 series will definitely come to India, and here’s everything you need to know before its India launch.

Things to Know About Redmi Note 11 Series

Design and Display

Q. How is the build quality of Redmi Note 11 5G and Note 10 Pro 5G? 

A. The phone comes with a plastic back panel. It is 8.75mm thick and its weight is 195g. The Redmi Note 11 5G is also splash resistant with an IP53 rating. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IR sensor on top.

While the Note 11 Pro series comes with a flat-edge design with a frosted AG glass back. These also come with a similar design to the vanilla model including the same camera module and same side-mounted fingerprint.


The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ also comes in a special YIBO DESIGN limited edition. This is designed by Redmi’s brand ambassador Wang Yibo and features a holographic suspension manufacturing process and a micron-level Redmi logo appears on the back surface. There are racing stripes inspired by racing track and a fluorescent green signature of Wang Yibo.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G price in China starts at 1599 yuan (Rs. 18,710 approx.) for the 6GB + 128GB model and goes up to 2099 yuan (Rs. 24,572 approx.) for the 8GB + 256GB version.

While the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ starts at 1899 yuan (Rs. 22,245 approx.) for the 6GB + 128GB model and it goes all the way up to 2299 yuan (Rs. 26,915 approx.) for the 8GB + 256GB version.

So you can see Redmi Note 11 5G series price in India will start around Rs. 14,000 and will go up to Rs. 25,000 for the top model.
