The Infinix Note 5 Stylus was launched in India today. The latest phone from Hong Kong-based smartphone maker comes with a stylus pen called X-Pen. This pen, just like Samsung’s Note series, is capable of doing several actions on the phone.
Apart from X-Pen, the new Infinix Note 5 Stylus has some other key features such as a big FHD+ display, Android One, and a big battery with fast charging support. The Infinix Note 5 Stylus is priced at Rs. 15,999 in India and will be available from next week via Flipkart. Metal Unibody
The smartphone sports a full metal unibody design. There is metal on the back with plastic antenna bands on top. The front is glass with an 18:9 display. The phone is not so bulky despite sporting a big 6-inch display. You can easily use it with one hand. Overall, the phone looks premium with metal design and Red/Blue colors make it look cool too.
Big FHD+ Display
Coming to the display, the Note 5 Stylus sports a 6-inch FHD+ (2160×1080 pixels) IPS LCD 2.5D curved glass panel. The display sports an 18:9 aspect ratio hence there is no notch. The display has 500 nits brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 85% NTSC color gamut. The display’s viewing angles are good, colors are sharp and daylight visibility is okay.
X-Pen Stylus
This is the most unique feature of the new Infinix Note 5 Stylus. The smartphone comes with support for stylus pen that the company calls X-Pen. The X Pen stylus has a fine tip and a button to function. It offers 4096 level pressure sensitivity. The X Pen lets you launch menu, make notes, write memos, take a screenshot, view files and more. You can also switch between pen and eraser with just a click.
Android One
Further, in terms of software, the Infinix is a breeze to use. It comes with stock Android experience as it supports Google’s Android One program. So, as you know, this phone will get faster Android updates and security updates as well.
Big Battery with Fast Charger
Last but not least is the battery of new Note 5 Stylus. The smartphone packs a big 4,000mAh battery that supports fast charging. The good thing here is that the phone comes with a bundled 18W fast charger in the box. The company claims it can charge the phone in just one hour.
