Tab-Book Ultra Z160 is a high end slider launched by LG which comes with an 11.6-inch 720p IPS multi-touch panel. This convertible tablet from LG is hyped as an ultrabook competitor though does not have a touchpad.
As the name suggest you can be able to guess that the devices are intended to offer convertible slider form factor and ultra suggest the thinness and lightness associated with Ultrabook. As this is the slider the user has to press the button on the side of keyboard and pull forward , which is used as stand, to use the tab as the Laptop. And to use as the tablet have to push the keyboard in one motion slides under the screen. This designs increases the weight of this ultrabook. Comparing to H160’s weight which is 1.05kg and 15.9mm thickness this ultrabook Z160 got the weighing of 1.23kg and measuring in at 19.4mm thick. But if we compare it with normal laptops it is definitely lighter.
It is featured with five-point multi-touch and as mentioned earlier a 11.6-inch 720p IPS displays. It also got a third-generation Intel Core i5, whereas its sibling is Atom-powered . It is driven by a speedier, third-generation (Ivy Bridge) Intel Core i5 central processing unit and moreover, it houses 8GB of RAM and a larger 160GB SSD. This phone also got the HDMI connectivity with which you can connect to the high Display modems like TV, games and other HDMI devices for the greater display.
LG Tab Book Highlighted the Features:
- Windows 8
- 3rd Generation Intel Core i5
- 11.6″ 720p IPS
- USB 3.0
- Convertible Tablet (Non-Touch)
But with all the we can experience one major drawback and that is: it does not have keyboard touchpad, which necessarily should be present on the tablets. And this could have the reason of no space and hence keyboard used as a base. but still it is expected to get the good response and seem to be worth to check if you are looking for a combo of laptop and tablet. Coming toward the price: the pricing has not yet been declared and not the availability.
