Tweet Video on Twitter without using Vine

If you have been using vine for a long time, then let me tell you that this article will be a big time saver for you. To be precise, you don’t need vine any more to post videos in your tweet because now you can do that directly from your Twitter smartphone application. To be honest, videos are always the best way to convey any kind of information because if a picture is worth 1000 words then a video  can obviously talk a lot more than those 140 characters. In this article we will tell you that how you can post videos directly in your tweets.

The best part of this feature is that you can merge 2 or 3 videos which have been recorded after a pause but we are not sure about the maximum length of video that can be tweeted.

Tweet video shots using Twitter App

Open the Twitter application and tap the icon to draft a new tweet, you will see an icon of camera on that screen. Tap it.

Now, the camera will obviously open in a still mode, change it to recording mode by tapping video icon.

Now tap and hold the video icon in order to start the recording and the moment you lift your fingers off that icon, the recording will stop (or I should say it will pause), now tap and hold that icon again if you want to resume the recording.

Once you press that done button, you will see the videos merged and recorded your tweet. You can play it in order to watch its preview.

That’s it!! Now you can add the text as a description to that video and tweet it for your readers.

Conclusion

When we say that Twitter is all about conveying the information in quickest way possible then these small video clips are best to do that. Twitter tried to do it by creating a third party application called vine, prospecting that Vine may itself become a popular platform to share video clips. However, it seems that Twitter is not independent of Vine and under can share your video right here within their tweets. Stay tuned to know more about such tips related to these popular applications.
