Have you been planning to buy a smartphone this month? There are many phones that are released every month at the world level. Some of them come to India instantly while some are made available after a while. In this case, you get carried away with the latest launches and can’t make a decision.
Well, here we list some latest and very good phones that might be coming to India this July. These phones are already launched globally and are expected to make their debut in the Indian market soon.
Status: Available, offline
The first phone in the list that is now available in retail stores in India is the latest from Motorola, Moto E4. Although the parent company Lenovo has not officially launched the Moto E4 in India, a Mumbai-based retailer has posted an unboxing video of the device stating the phone is now available in India for Rs. 8,999.
Moto India recently posted a Moto E4 Plus teaser, that means the company may also launch Moto E4 along with it. Let’s talk about the specs of the Moto E4.
Moto E4 features a 5 inch HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat. The smartphone is backed by a 2800mAh removable battery. It supports single SIM.
Indian variant of Moto E4 is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT673. The US variant of Moto E4 was launched with a Snapdragon processor. This is further coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, the Moto E4 features an 8 MP camera on the rear side with auto focus, f/2.2 aperture, and a LED flash. While, on the front, the device comes with a 5 MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a LED flash. Also, the beautification mode makes it ideal for selfies.
The phone is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will be available across retail stores. The phone comes in India in two color variants – Liquorice Black and Fine Gold.
So, going by the price, the phone is a good buy, if you are buying a smartphone for normal usage. But, due to its hardware, that is compromised by the company, it would not be a great performer for heavy usage.
Moto E4 Plus
Status: To be launched
Moto E4 Plus will be a more powerful variant of Moto E4. This phone is supposed to come with a bigger display and a massive battery. The Moto India Twitter handle has posted a teaser of the phone and it may soon launch in India.

As the E4 Plus is already launched in the US, we can assume the specs will be the same in India too. The phone will feature a 5.5 inches display with the resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It will also run on Android Nougat 7.1.1.
The major difference from the E4 in this phone will be its massive 5,000 mAh battery. The phone will also be powered by a MediaTek 6737 Quad-Core processor. It will house a 3GB of RAM with 16 GB internal memory that is further expandable up to 128 GB.
If we talk about the camera, E4 Plus to sport a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.0, autofocus, and LED flash. The front shooter will be of 5 MP with f/2.2 and LED flash.
Going by the features and specs, this very much obvious that the Moto E4 Plus will be priced more than the Moto E4, which means it could be priced at around Rs. 10,000.
With Moto E4 Plus, the company is trying to lure the Indian customers by offering big battery, and latest Android version. But then again, it has done compromises in hardware section on this phone too.
So, if you want to own a smartphone just for basic usage, these phones can be a good buy. But, the smartphone may not be suitable for heavy usage. Do keep this thing in mind before buying.
