Gaming Performance

Zenfone 3 comes with a hardware that looks good enough on paper, if you want to play high end games on it. But as you know, we never believe it until we experience it. So I decided to play Asphalt 8 on this phone with high graphic settings, full volume and brightness.

During the gameplay of 60 minutes, I did not experience a single hiccup or lag. It was showing minor frame drops when I disconnected the Wi-Fi and switched to cellular data but I am not counting that. As far as heating is concerned, I was really impressed as it did not even get warm until 30 minutes of continuous play. But after an hour, it has a mild warmth but it was gone in once I started using it in an air conditioned room.

I plyaed Asphalt 8 for 60 minutes and the battery drop was 17%. The maximum temperature reached up to 39 degree Celsius.

Conclusion

Asus Zenfone 3 has a premium build and design, 5.5 inch display, good display quality, FHD resolution, gorilla glass 3 protection, latest OS, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front camera and a fingerprint sensor. It has a hybrid microSD slot and 3000 mAh battery that is just enough for one day of normal usage. The phone is priced at Rs. 27,999 which makes it a little overpriced as compared to its competitors. The phone would look more attractive if it is priced aggressively.
