The Asus Zenfone 3 Max has improved a lot in terms of design. The device features an metal unibody. The top comes with a plastic band for improved reception. There is a fingerprint sensor below the primary camera.

The Coolpad Note 5 also comes with a metal unibody design. There is a plastic band for improved receptions. The Coolpad Note 5 is the heaviest of the three devices, weighing in at 173.4 grams. While the device is heavy, it can be held with one hand.

The Moto G4 Play is made up of plastic. It comes with rounded edges. Moto has made some compromises with the design to reduce the price. Considering that the device is priced cheaper than the other two devices, we are okay with the plastic design on the G4 Play. Using plastic has made it the lightest device.

Conclusion

The Moto G4 Play is a lot cheaper than the Zenfone 3 Max and the Coolpad Note 5. While the Moto G4 Play comes with a weaker Snapdragon 410 processor, the Zenfone 3 Max comes with a slightly better Mediatek MT6737M processor. Comparatively, the Coolpad Note 5 with the Snapdragon 617 processor is better than the other two phones.

Sitting in the middle in terms of the price, the Coolpad Note 5 is the best phone among the three, on a purely specs basis.
