Nokia 7 Plus has been launched recently in India which is a midrange smartphone from HMD Global with full view display. The smartphone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 which makes it the first smartphone to feature the SoC in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 25,999, and it will be available on Amazon and Nokia Mobile Shop from 30 April.
Oppo F7 has been released in India recently with a notch display, 19:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone is a selfie centric device which comes with a 25MP front-facing camera. The smartphone is priced at a starting price of Rs. 21,990, and it will be available on Flipkart soon.

The Oppo F7 comes with an aluminum body and front glass design which has a glossy back design, and it comes with an optional Diamond Black version which has diamond cut design at the back with a gloss. The screen comes with a notch design which has very thin bezels around the screen with a comparatively tiny chin at the bottom part.
The Nokia 7 Plus comes with an aluminum unibody design which is made from series 6000 aluminum with the diamond cut finish. Oppo F7 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor which includes four Cortex A73 cores running at 2.0 GHz and four Cortex A53 cores running at 2.0 GHz. The Helio P60 SoC comes with dedicated AI core to provide AI feature like the AI selfie and Face Unlock. The GPU which this smartphone uses is Mali G72 MP3 which is coupled with 4GB/ 6GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB internal storage.

The Nokia 7 Plus comes with a dual camera setup at the back with 12MP + 13MP shooters with gyro EIS 2X optical zoom and Carl Zeiss optics with dual LED dual-tone flash. The front-facing camera is a 16MP sensor which also features Carl Zeiss optics and f/2.0 aperture size. The camera is capable of capturing videos at 2160p at 30fps.
The Oppo F7 comes with a single 16MP sensor with a f/1.8 aperture which captures excellent pictures in low light conditions. The front-facing camera is a 25MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture size, and the smartphone can capture 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.
Software: Which one is smoother?
The Oppo F7 comes with ColorOS 5.0 user interface layer on the top of the Android 8.0 Oreo whereas Nokia 7 Plus comes with Android 8.0 Oreo with the stock Android interface. Nokia 7 Plus is far more secure than the Oppo F7 because it gets security patch faster than Oppo.
The Nokia 7 Plus is an excellent device and gives other good competition. The Oppo F7 F7 is better in display protection, front-facing camera and notch display. Nokia 7 Plus is better in the rear camera department, performance, stock Android 8.0 Oreo, and comes with a better build quality. Overall, the Nokia 7 Plus seems like a better device.
