The Xiaomi Redmi 4A is an entry level smartphone. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset clubbed with Adreno 308 GPU. In terms of memory, you get 2GB RAM and 16GB or 32GB internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded further up to 256GB using a microSD card.
The Redmi 3s is powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clubbed with Adreno 505 GPU. The device comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card.
Coming to the camera department, the Xiaomi Redmi 4A comes with a 13 MP primary camera with autofocus, LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. The Xiaomi Redmi 4A has been priced at Rs. 5,999. The device comes in Dark Grey, Gold and Rose Gold color variants. The Dark Grey and Gold color variants will be available exclusively on Amazon.in and Mi.com starting from March 23. The Rose Gold variant of the device will be available starting from April 6.
The Redmi 3s has been priced at Rs. 6,999. The device is sold by Amazon.in, Mi.com, Flipkart as well as PayTM. It is available in Gold, Dark Gray, Silver color options.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3S comes out as the obvious winner in this battle. The Redmi 3S with a better processor, better camera and better battery just for an additional Rs. 1,000 is a much better deal compared to the Redmi 4A. However, the Redmi 4A is more affordable and may be a good option for an entry level smartphone.
