Both Intex Aqua i7 (Quick Review) and XOLO Q1000S (Quick Review) are recently launched devices with MediaTek Turbo processor and impressive specifications. Most of the buyers looking for a smartphone around 20,000 INR range will be considering both these devices and this post will help you make up your mind as to which one is better suited to your needs. Display and Processor
XOLO Q1000S comes with a 5 Inch HD display which gives you a pixel density of about 294 ppi which will give you good clarity. Intex Aqua i7 comes with a 5 Inch Full HD 1080p IPS display which amounts to a 441 pixels per inches. Though in practical scenario difference in HD and Full HD display is not easily distinguishable but nevertheless their does exist a difference.
Both of these smartphones are powered by MediaTek Turbo Processor, MT6589T which is clocked at a higher frequency of 1.5 GHz and is equipped with PowerVR SGX544 GPU. The RAM capacity assisting this processor is 1 GB in XOLO Q1000S and 2 GB in Intex Aqua i7. Thus, we can expect a much better and powerful performance from Intex Aqua i7.

Both these devices feature a 13 MP Autofocus primary camera with LED flash capable of full HD video recording at 30fps and other features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, HDR, panorama. XOLO Q1000S has an effective Burst mode capable of capturing 99 pics. The secondary camera also shares same Mega pixel count at 5 MP each. XOLO however has provided with BSI sensor (back illuminated sensor) in its front camera as well for better low light performance.
As far as internal memory goes XOLO Q100S comes with 16 GB internal storage which will be optimum for most users but not all. The Intex Aqua i7 will provide you with 32 GB of internal storage out of which 25 GB will be available to the users. The memory in both of these devices is not expandable.
Battery and Other Features
The battery capacity of XOLO Q1000S is 2500 mAh which will provide you with a talk time of 22.5 hrs (2G) and standby time of around 327 hours. Intex Aqua i7 has a meager 2000 mAh battery which Intex claims will give you 7 hrs of talk time. The battery will drain pretty soon while you are watching videos on your Full HD screen. The battery in both these phones is non-removable.
Both these phones have Android 4.2 Jelly bean as their Operating system. Intex will offer 5 GB of extra storage on the cloud. XOLO Q1000S comes with a very sleek body design. It is only 6.98 mm thick which is 1 mm less than Intex Aqua i7 (7.8 mm). Intex Aqua i7 also comes with Dual SIM functionality unlike XOLO Q1000S.

Conclusion and Price
Intex Aqua i7 comes with venerable hardware specifications better than those of XOLO Q1000S, but the battery capacity is a major issue. The battery capacity of Intex Aqua i7 will be a deal breaker for many as it is the soul of the phone which lets you enjoy all other features. If you don’t mind carrying a portable charger with you it will provide you with powerful performance and smooth Android experience
