At an event held in Dubai today, Coolpad launched its latest smartphone, the Cool Play 6. The phone adds a very competitive option in Coolpad’s portfolio of smartphones in India. At a price of Rs. 14,999, the phone gives the best specs-to-price ratio in this price segment.
With a premium metal design and a dual camera setup, the Coolpad Cool Play 6 looks like a very good option.

Physical Overview
Starting with the looks, the Coolpad Cool Play 6 has a premium feel to it. It comes in a metal build and looks good in Golden color.
It has the Front-facing 8MP camera and earpiece sitting on top of the display, with capacitive navigation buttons at the bottom.
Coming to the back, you will see a vertically placed Dual camera setup with 13MP + 13MP lenses. The flash sits to the right side of cameras while a Fingerprint sensor is placed below the camera module. The Coolpad branding is towards the bottom of the phone. Antenna bands run across the top and bottom of the back.
The right side of the Cool Play 6 features the volume rockers and the power button. You get a 3.5mm earphone jack at the top and a USB Type-C port at the bottom of the phone.
The dual SIM card slot is placed on the left side of the Cool Play 6.

In terms of the display, the Cool Play 6 features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display. It is a Full HD display with 1920x1080p resolution and a pixel density of ~401 PPI. Being an IPS LCD display it has good viewing angles.

Coming to cameras, the Cool Play 6 features a dual 13MP + 13MP camera setup with an f/2.0 aperture and Phase Detection Autofocus. The phone also comes with a dual LED flash for assistance in low light conditions.
