Design and Accessories

In light of the fact that, Kingston Hyper Cloud is a gaming headset, it isn’t unnecessarily gaudy, though it isn’t exactly fashionable either. We got the While and Black variant for our review, which is made of plastic and aluminum and includes soft touch bend.

This is no flimsy headset. The build quality is sturdy and the large 53 mm drivers draped in leather ear cups were extremely comfortable and efficient in our usage. It is just the right weight without being too tight, which makes them suitable for long duration usage. The headset can proficiently reproduce high and low tones.

The USB sound card module comes separately and together with the headphone cable, the tangle free braided wire is very long (around 9 feet). The microphone also comes separate and can be plugged in the left ear cup.

The USB Sound card module offers inline volume control. While playing games on PC or Mac you can also enjoy surround sound. Extra pairs of ear cushions, connectors and a carry case is also included in the box.

Audio Quality and Performance

The audio quality on Kingston Hyper Cloud is clear and powerful. The headphones can block the ambient noise without any issue, which makes up for active noise cancellation. The 53 mm driver can easily reproduce high and low tones with great fidelity.

The headphone is loud enough to be used even in noisy environment. The bass, treble and dynamic range is at part with some of the best headsets that we have used. The microphone which comes as a separate module is again a decent performer, though not outright impressive.

Conclusion

Kingston HyperX Cloud gaming headsets are an easy recommendation for the asking price of around 6,000 INR. The most prominent positive aspect is the comfort they offer, which makes them suitable for hardcore audiophiles. If you are an avid gamer looking for a no nonsense headset in the price range, you can go ahead and buy it.
