Lava Iris 502 with 5 Inch WVGA Display for Rs.8,600

Lava has also launched the Lava Iris 502 along with the Lava Iris 454 on Friday. After the launch of table Lava Etab Xtron, a 7-inch tablet, Lava international,seems to be moving toward the smartphone and mobiles and has released its latest Android smartphone Lava Iri 502 and Iris 454. Lava Iris 502 seems very much similar to Iris 501 with the only difference in processor and OS. Iris 501 is powered by a dual core processor where as Iris 502 will be coming with Single Core processor, Iris 501 runs older version of Android where as Iris 502 will be having latest Android v4.1 OS (Jelly Bean).

Coming toward the technical and hardware specification of the device, the Lava Iris 502 is a dual-SIM phone with the body dimensions of 78.0 x 145.5 x 10.2 mm. The Smartphone will be having the 5.0-inch WVGA display with screen resolution of 480×800 pixels.

The device will be running latest Android v4.1 OS (Jelly Bean) and is powered by 1 GHz Single-core processor and will get support of 512MB RAM. It will be housing the Internal memory of 2GB which can be expandable up to 32GB. It will also be featured with the rear camera oof 5.0-megapixel camera with LED flash and a secondary front-facing camera of normal 0.3- megapixel VGA camera. Like Lava Iris 454, Irisi 502 doesn’t seems to have slot for HDMI connectivity but enables the user for other basic connectivity like Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, and USB v2.0. Iris 502 will also get power of 2000 mAh by Lithium-Polymer battery which could gives at least 400 hours of standby time.

Iris 502 is one of the very few handful budget smartphones in the industry to feature the latest Android mobile OS Jelly Bean and is meant to compete with smartphones such as Swipe Fablet F2 and Karbonn Smart A111. The competition looks good among this smartphone having single core processor and latest Android version.
