Hardware

Lava Z25 comes with a 1.5GHz octa-core processor with MediaTek MT6750 chipset, the graphic duties are handled by Mali-T860 GPU. Further, the processor is coupled to 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The storage can be further upgraded through microSD. Fuelling the phone is a 2500 mAh battery.

The phone gives a decent performance while doing multitasking and light gaming will be hassle free. Though we cannot say that the performance will be swift while heavy gaming. The fingerprint sensor is also responsive and company claims it to be the fastest in the segment.

Gaming Performance

We played Asphalt 8 for about 15 minutes, keeping the battery levels at 30%. The game went smooth for almost 5 to 6 minutes but then it started to lag. The phone got warm to an above average level. Battery dropped by 7% in 15 minutes.

Benchmark Scores

Conclusion

Lava is known for producing budget friendly smartphones with appropriate performance. The latest addition to the lineup, the Z25 is also a good phone in the particular price bracket. With a decent camera and processor the phone is a good pick for the users who are not expecting much from their smartphones but, also not want to get disappointed in different aspects.
