Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 Quick Review, Price and Comparison

Micromax has today officially launched the next smartphone in it’s Doodle series, the Doodle 4 Q391, with a signature large sized display and other modest hardware to limit the best buy price to 9,499 INR. The handset has been designed to cater to offline market and thus, doesn’t even try to compete with flashy online exclusives available on ecommerce stores. Let’s take a look at Doodle 4 hardware.

Camera and Internal Storage

The rear auto focus camera has an 8 MP sensor and LED flash, while on the front side, there is just a 2 MP shooter for selfies. The imaging hardware is an improvement over Doodle 3, but is still very basic when compared to phones like Yuphoria and Redmi Note.

Internal storage is standard 8 GB and you can there is provision for 32 GB MicroSD card, which can be used for storing media content to relish on the large 6 Inch display.

Processor and Battery

The processor used is 1.3 GHz MT6582M quad core, which was a budget star last year, but feels dates in modern setup. The chipset is aided with 1 GB RAM, which puts the total horsepower at par with Android One phones or any of the numerous devices we saw last year. For basic usage, the chipset will suffice.
