Lenovo launched its new E-series device under its sub brand Motorola, the Moto E3 Power in India. However this phone is already being sold in Hong Kong but is officially announced in India today.

This phone is totally a budget oriented device and packs a decent specification. This is also one of the budget phones which provides pure Android experience which a lot of us love to use. This phone packs a bigger battery to give competition to its rival Redmi 3s and will be sold exclusively on the eCommerce site Flipkart.

Physical Overview

Motorola Moto E3 Power is very simple looking device, nothing very fancy here. It’s build out of plastic but feels very solid and rigid in hands. Its design is very similar to Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. Back cover is removable and battery as well. On the front, it has got a 5-inch display and a front firing speaker.

Let us take a look at the phone from different angles.

Camera Overview

Moto E3 (7)

It features a 8MP rear and a 5MP front selfie cam. Cameras are quite decent and performs good in natural lightning condition, nothing very exceptional though. It captures a good amount of detail, and colour reproduction is quite natural and although low light shots came out to be full of noise. Front camera takes decent selfies with beauty mode.

DisplayMoto E3

It sports a 5-inch HD (720p) resolution display with 67.5% screen to body ratio. The display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and comes with an oleo-phobic coating. It has got a pixel density of 294ppi and offers a good experience in bright sunlight when the screen brightness is full. Overall the display is bright and crisp with good colour reproduction and nice viewing angles.

Gaming Performance

Motorola Moto E3 Power has a MediaTek quad-core processor clocked at 1GHz, which is a decent processor and is paired with 2GB of RAM. It can handle all the low to mid range games pretty well with medium or high graphics settings. High end games may not run smooth with the type of hardware it offers.

Conclusion

This phone packs a good set of specification and comes at a good price point too. Moto E3  is one of the rarest phone which provides stock Android experience in this price segment. It toughest competitor is Xiaomi Redmi 3s which packs a better camera, bigger battery, and a better overall build quality. Although there nothing very exciting about this device but getting this phone for the price INR 7,999 is something a quality lover will choose.
