Build Quality, Design and Form Factor

The build quality of Zopo 950 is a quite comparable to Note 2 and it looks exactly like a note 2 but with a bigger and more bright display, it has a nice chrome lining on the edges and while plastic on the the front and the bezel which make it look quite premium. The form factor is phone is not too good, it feels slighter heavier and little bigger to hold in one hand, using it with one hand is not that easy as the keyboard again is not optimized for one hand usage but the size is not an issue after some time as a user will get used to it.

Display, Memory and Battery Backup

It has 5.7 inch HD IPS TFT Multi-touch capacitive Screen the resolution the display is 1280×720 which is a really bright display with crisp clarity and no one can notice pixels with human eyes but the color sharpness is not that good. It has 16Gb rom out of which around 11.5 Gb is available to the user and you have a microSD memory card slot with which you can expand the storage upto 32Gb max and you get 1 Gb of RAM which is sufficient to make the phone faster. It gives you around 1 day of backup when it comes to battery with moderate usage of browsing web, gaming, watching videos and using phone for calling.

We did not faced any issue while playing heavy games on this device including dead trigger, frontline commando and temple run oz etc. It can play HD Video both at 720p and 1080p without any issues.

Camera and Connectivity

The back camera on the device is 8MP although it can take pictures at max resolution at 12 megapixels, it can record videos at 720p max and performs better in daylight where in low light or night time the performance is average but the flash is really helpful to take good photos with low or no light.

Sound, Call Quality and Connectivity

The sound from the loudspeaker and earpiece was loud and pretty clear in voice calls and navigation also worked using the assisted GPS so when you use GPS navigation make sure to turn on GPS EPO assistance and assisted GPs under location services, it has dual SIM slot one for 3G sim and other one for 2G sim but there is no active stand by.

coming soon…

Conclusion:

This phone is a pretty affordable option when it comes to big phablets, you cannot get a phablet of this price and such a decent hardware config including quad core processor and 5.7 inch display as this point of time while writing this review, although it is slightly bigger to hold in one hand and if you want a device bigger than the 5 inch display then this is best phone which comes at nice price point.
