Cupertino tech giant Apple is now reported to be focussing on battery capacity, which has been a prime issue with the iPhone so far. While Apple iPhones are known for the fluid iOS experience, the battery life has been a let down so far.
Apple iPhone X, however, managed to turn the tables in the company’s favor with the new design. Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities has predicted in the company’s investor note, that Apple will increase the battery capacity in the coming iPhone lineup. Kuo also predicted the introduction of three new iPhones in the 2018 lineup.
Apple iPhone range with big batteries
The iPhone X has been a success in terms of battery life as compared to the other iPhones. The L-shaped battery structure helped Apple fit two batteries to get a combined 2,761 mAh output. While this is still low compared to Android flagships, the next iPhones are expected to catch up.
KGI predictions say that there will be 3 new iPhones next year. While two of these phones may come with the L-shaped battery and OLED displays, the third one will bear the standard battery with an LCD display. Two of these devices may bear display sizes of 5.8-inches and 6.5-inches with the iPhone X’s design language.
The third iPhone is expected to be a budget-friendly model with a 6-inch display. Apple has radically changed their design language with the iPhone X and we expect the company to stick to it with the future iPhones.
While the ‘notch’ in the designed has divided fans into two factions in favor and against it, the company seems to be satisfied. Anyhow, it will be a positive thing if the company decides to act on the battery life and make iPhone batteries last longer. Improvements may also be there in terms of the phone as well as iOS.
