Asus ZenFone 4 Max With 5,000 mAh Battery Launched In China

Asus has launched the Asus ZenFone 4 Max in China today. The smartphone is launched under the model name ZC550TL. The ZenFone 4 Max features a dual camera module at the back and a huge 5,000 mAh battery powers the device. It packs a MediaTek MT6750 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM.

Earlier, Asus had introduced the ZenFone 4 Max (ZC554KL) with Snapdragon 430 processor and 4GB RAM. This newly launched ZC550TL has slightly different specifications than the ZC554KL.

The Asus ZenFone 4 Max runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with ZenUI 4.0 skinned on top. The ZenUI is Android based OS by Asus.

Talking about the build, the Asus ZenFone 4 Max comes with an all metal build. It comes with a front-mounted fingerprint sensor which can unlock the phone in 0.3 seconds. Coming to display, the device comes with a 5.5 inch IPS LCD display with HD (1280x720p) resolution and 2.5D curved glass.


Talking about the camera, we have a dual camera setup with 2 lenses of 13 MP each. The Asus ZenFone 4 Max (ZC550TL) has the same 120-degree wide angle camera from the ZC554KL. The front-facing camera is an 8 MP unit.

On the performance front, the Asus ZenFone 4 Max comes with a MediaTek MT6750 octa core processor. The Zenfone 4 Max uses 3GB RAM and has 32GB internal memory.

The USP of the ZenFone 4 Max is its huge 5,000 mAh battery which can easily power it for more than a day. It is a dual SIM 4G enabled handset. The ZenFone 4 Max (ZC550TL) has micro USB connectivity.

Pricing and Availability

The Asus ZenFone 4 Max (ZC550TL) is launched in China only. It will be available at a price of CNY 1,099 that translates to roughly Rs. 10,400. The Indian availability of this phone is not yet known.
